Lara Peer
Lara Peer is a Berlin-based actor with a background in both film and theatre. Originally from South Tyrol, the German-speaking part of Italy, she has performed in numerous short films and stage productions. Recently, she wrote and performed a 30-minute solo show, playing 11 distinct characters, showcasing her range and captivating stage presence.
Lara holds a bachelor’s degree in screen acting from the Catalyst Institute for Creative Arts, where she gained industry insights, portraying a wide variety of characters on screen, from a teen with bizarre phobias to a chilling serial killer. During her studies, she explored the art of comedy sketches, building on her improv skills and enhancing her spontaneity and character work.
Her theatre credits include leading roles in musical productions, such as The Extravagant Flauntings of Marie Antoinette and an adaptation of Dear Evan Hansen. This year she will be part of the cast of Pippi Langstrumpf – Das Musical.
She used to be a committee member of “Jugendtheater Vinschgau – JuVi”, a non-profit youth theatre group in Italy, where she performed regularly, helped organize productions, and gained hands-on experience in stage construction.
Beyond acting, she has a strong passion for voice acting, plays the guitar, and has been rock climbing since childhood. When she’s not acting, she’s often busy trying to teach her tortoises their names or making it her life’s mission to befriend every dog she meets.
